The 2024-2025 speaker season was defined by one theme: the power of direct dialogue. Our season began with Governor Bill Owens, who unpacked the complexities of the geopolitics of Russia and the West with a firsthand historical perspective. We also looked to the future, launching our inaugural “Future of Space Policy Forum,” a pioneering event that brought together leading experts to discuss the new frontier of global affairs.

The year was marked by dynamic regional deep dives and crucial conversations on economic pressures. We were honored by the partnerships we’ve forged and strengthened with organizations like the Stimson Center and the Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs.

To cap off an already powerful year, we were excited to offer our members a rare summer lineup. The Canadian Consul General in Denver, Sylvan Fabi, chose the DCFR for one of his final addresses in that post, and Representative Alexander Yui, the head of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Washington, D.C., made his first visit to Denver to share Taiwan’s unique perspective on a global stage.

From academic experts to experienced diplomats, we were privileged to host a lineup of remarkable speakers who brought a world of insight directly to our members. Check out our upcoming events to continue the conversation!
